Gifts To Help NCFIL Grow

The NC Food Innovation Lab received two significant gifts through NC State University’s annual Day of Giving campaign on March 24. We extend our thanks to Blue Mountain Flavors and Mother Murphy’s Laboratories for each making a sponsorship level gift to NCFIL to further support the mission of food processing innovation and rural economic development.

Support of NCFIL grows our ability to serve entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes. NCFIL Executive Director Bill Aimutis says, “The generosity of donors like Blue Mountain Flavors and Mother Murphy’s allows NCFIL to maintain our ingredient library to serve our customers in a thorough manner. I’m proud to discuss our relationship with these suppliers and our customers.” 

Day of Giving A Success

Dedicated NC State supporters from across the globe showed the incredible strength of the Pack during the university’s third Day of Giving. At the close of the day, real-time numbers reflected 14,272 gifts, totaling $58,103,657 and supporting an array of university activities. Donors from all 100 counties in North Carolina, all 50 states and 23 countries joined together to invest in NC State students, faculty, staff, research and programs.
